The FW 23 capsule collection is designed by Laura Finizio, class of 2000, a graduate of the IED in Rome.
INSPIRATION AND CONCEPT
Laura takes her cue from the place where diversity par excellence creates a sense of harmony: the airport. The designer makes this suggestion her own and translates it into a style without patterns in which contamination creates richness.
Laura plays with shapes and styles belonging to two worlds diametrically opposed: tailoring and streetwear. The garments she designs, soft and square, can be worn by anyone, regardless of gender, age, body shape, season or occasion. Provocative and groundbreaker, Laura encourages the viewer to abandon the known and pushes them to explore and be immersed in a new, bias-free and entirely wild reality: their own.
